Guys and Gals,
It would be a great idea to share healthy recipes on this site. Most of our babies need to have a carefully planned balanced diet. So if you have a dish (super taste on the palate) which is a hit with your special angel (and the family), please do let us all know. It will be wonderful dishing out variety for the family. Menfolk are welcome - Get creative and come out with something that your kids will love. We could also have 'Special recipe of the month' for the dish that gets voted the best from a simple survey.
Please feel free to comment if we need to take this forward.
Cheers!

thats a great idea.
heres a simple side dish, can be eaten with salad or bread:
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
1. boil 4 potatoes cut in medium pieces in salted water in an open pan. keep on slow flame till potatoes are soft & tender, about 15-20mins after the water has boiled.
2.meanwhile, heat 1T olive oil in a pan, stir fry 1 flake crushed garlic briefly. lower the heat, add 1/2C milk , 1/2 C Amul cream, & bring to boil. Remove from heat, add salt, pepper and 1 T chopped parsley or dried herbs. keep warm.
3. Drain water from the boiled potatoes, keep them back on low heat for 30-40 secs to dry out any remaining water.
4. remove from fire and mash the hot potatoes with a masher till VERY Smooth.
5. Gradually add the above milk mixture to the potatoes.
6. Make it smooth and fluffy. If pototoes are small in sz you may have some milk left over.
7. Sprinkle some fresh parsley or dhania and drizzle ligthly with melted butter to garnish.
Truly Yummy Parul. Was a big hit. Thanks.
For CF option would use coconut cream made from the juice and meat of a young green coconut!!!
2 cups ragi flour
1/2 cup oil (coconut is what I use)
sugar 1 cup
Guar gum 1 tsp
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
salt 1/4th tsp
Cinnamon powder 2 tsp
eggs-1
vanilla essence-1 1/2 tsp
Mix dry ingredients …. mix wet ingredients and sugar, beat well. combine wet and dry ingredients and knead into dough. Make small balls 1.5 cm diameter and flatten into cookies…bake for about 10-12 mins in oven preheated at 160 degc
